What To Expect
New Hope constructed a multi-use facility in order to be able to serve our neighbors in Clemmons. Our main worship space is a gymnasium. This permits us ample room for worship, and allows us to show hospitality to hundreds of families who come here for athletic events and practices.
New Hope’s congregation includes people from all generations – seniors, older and younger adults, college students, youth and children. No matter where you fall on life’s spectrum, you can find a place at New Hope.
New Hope’s worship services include both structure and freedom. The first half of each week’s service is devoted to Praise and Prayer. Elders and musicians lead the congregation in Scripture readings and songs, followed by a time for congregational prayer. During this time, everyone is free (one at a time!) to offer up prayers of praise, confession, thanksgiving, or petition.
The second half of each week’s service is devoted to Preaching and the Sacraments. A portion of Scripture is read, explained, and applied through a sermon given by one of the pastors. On the second and fourth Sundays of each month, the sermon is followed by the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. The Sacrament of Baptism is observed whenever there is need.
